Chewe Chiti
Managing Director / Lead Environmental Specialist

Chewe Chiti is an environmental and sustainability professional with over seven years of experience across the mining, conservation, infrastructure, and natural resource sectors. As the Managing Director of Aarvik Environmental, he combines expertise in environmental management, occupational health and safety systems, and sustainability advisory with practical business leadership and project management experience.

Chewe holds an MBA in Project Management from the University of Zambia and has built a multidisciplinary career spanning environmental compliance, biodiversity conservation, ESG advisory, greenhouse gas accounting, REDD+ initiatives, and environmental monitoring. His work also integrates safety management systems, risk assessment, and the application of digital tools such as GIS and environmental monitoring technologies to support responsible resource development.

Through Aarvik Environmental, Chewe leads initiatives that help organizations strengthen environmental governance, improve workplace safety systems, and align operations with international ESG and sustainability standards. His approach bridges environmental science, business strategy, and technology-driven solutions to support sustainable development across industries.

Experienced operations and field monitoring professional responsible for coordinating project implementation, environmental monitoring programs, and operational logistics. Oversees field activities, compliance monitoring, data collection processes, and supports the execution of environmental and sustainability projects across multiple sectors.

Clinton Shamakamba
Technical Advisor - Carbon Markets

Clinton Shamakamba is a carbon and climate specialist with over seven years of international experience in carbon project development, climate finance, and greenhouse gas accounting. His expertise covers the full carbon project lifecycle including feasibility assessments, emissions modelling, project design documents, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV), and validation and verification support.

He has worked on a wide range of climate mitigation and carbon removal initiatives including forest conservation and restoration, renewable energy, biochar, and other nature-based climate solutions aligned with international carbon market frameworks and the Paris Agreement.

Clinton holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Copperbelt University and has training in international greenhouse gas standards including ISO 14064, ISO 14066, and ISO 14067.
